SCUBA DIVING :: FORUMS :: NEWS :: MIKE BALL

Everybody has their own opinion but Mike Ball alienated divers with price scams...

Nobody wants to get ripped off--that's for sure. I think Mike Ball finally learned the hard way not to charge multiple rates based on nationality and no question about it: Most of the credit for that has to go to Cyber Diver and of course the internet. Good on 'em!

Now about Mike Ball and Taka, I like Taka but it's really six one way, half a dozen the other. They're both in the same cattle boat league. Big boats, lots of people, ring the bell, line 'em up, get 'em in, get 'em out, on to the next site. Predictable big boat liveaboard tours--edible food.

Peter Hughes, Aggressor, Mike Ball.  Not bad, but not really my personal cup of specially made just for me tea either. Look further for that level of personalized service and once-in-a-lifetime adventure that definitely leaves you asking for more.

I could recommend much better liveaboard dive boats and tell you exactly why they are better but then the cattle will stampede and that could be dangerous.  So I will leave it to you and fate to find the better boats.
