Smug mug at Tina's funeral...

Kari, I think I knew Tina about as well as anyone, but had not been in contact for a few years. I was at the funeral and had to ask which "mourner" was her husband. I was looking for a young man with grief on his face, swollen eyes, and that blank stare that is ususally the case in an accidental death of a young person.  When he was pointed out to me, I saw a man who looked more like he was at his wedding than a funeral, and he swaggered around like he was on cloud nine.  I wasn't judging him for her death at the time because as far as we knew it had been a horrible accident.  I told my husband at that very moment that there was something strange in his behavior. My family will always love Tina like a daughter. She had faults just like us all, but I think the worst one was her choice of a husband.
