I was in possession of another aviation magazine article that stated this had on board, in addition to radiation monitoring equipment, an astro-tracker device for shooting stars during daylight, similar to the astrotracker we had on the "Hound Dog Missles on our B-52s on a SAC Base in California from 1962-1964.  Shortly after that they were taken off and replaced with 12 500 lb.bombs under ea. wing.
