Aggressor boats are death traps...Barbara Cohen - Rescue Diver/Small Business OwnerJune 13, 2003 at 21:22:18The Aggressor boats are death traps.
I mean it's one thing to put customers at risk on a half-repaired boat - the Galapagos Aggressor - without emergency life rafts. That's unnecessarily endangering customer lives and getting away with it. It's quite another when the Okeanos Aggressor loses not one, but two divers at Cocos Island. That's killing people. If the evidence does not tell you something about "no quality control" and how the Aggressor boats are mismanaged, then just
listen to Wayne Hasson blaming the dead Aggressor customers for "killing themselves". Now for my third-grade reading students and lawyer wannabes. "Reimburse" (the word I used) means to compensate for loss. "Refund" means to repay. As I said, "...if Cuan Law/Lammer Law has to cancel dives due to weather or other problems, the customer is always reimbursed for the lost dives" and "Cuan Law, Lammer Law and other boats will reimburse customers for
any dives that have to be cancelled due to weather or equipment malfunction". On the other hand and as a matter of company policy, the Aggressor boats force the customer to take the loss even when the customer is not in any way responsible for the canceled dives. If you can't read, all you have to do is ask. |
