Responsible boat operators schedule adequate time for haulouts...Ben Davis - Recreational DiverJanuary 6, 2002 at 20:30:09I gather that the Aggressor had just been relaunched after haulout. A prudent
and responsible owner does not invite this kind of disaster by squeezing annual haulouts into the middle of a tight schedule.
As a commercial boat operator, the rule is to estimate how long you need to do the work each year and multiply by three to account for all of the nasty surprises. That's far more prudent and responsible than putting customers on a half repaired boat and expecting them to cope with the nasty surprises. Hasson knows better. Based on what he told the group leader, it's obvious he doesn't really care. |
