SCUBA FORUM ANNOUNCEMENTS

Google rates Scuba Forum top dive consumer info resource...

One more time! Scuba Forum has again been "Googlefied" this time as the web's top dive consumer information resource.  Clearly, the genuises at Google have figured out how to discount the predictable and often spiteful filler we've come to expect from lowest common denominator "community chat sites". Instead, Google's focus is on quality, which rewards the well-written intelligent analysis, thoughtful commentary and spirited, civil debate that differentiates and distinguishes Scuba Forum and its contributors from corrupt, industry-controlled scuba boards. Again, to all of you intelligent, thoughtful, spirited and civil debaters who share the blame for making Scuba Forum Google's top-rated scuba board and now top-rated dive consumer information site, BRAVO!

Fed up with spammers and identity thieves? The best way to protect yourself from the malicious twits who aim to harass you and disrupt Scuba Forum by submitting comments under your identity is to register as a Scuba Forum member.  That enables you to lock in a unique user identity, which may or may not be your actual name. "Joe E. Zilch" or "ScubaJoe" — it's your choice. Members enjoy other benefits not the least of which is the opportunity to post in real-time and bypass the delay interval required for screening by Scuba Forum moderators. Why wait?  Register now.

"Don't nobody move--we got the whole damn Google covered!" According to Cyber Diver Society member Aaron Moore who sent us the link, Google rates Scuba Forum the top scuba message board. Not bad for a small site designed to nurture well-written, intelligent analysis, thoughtful commentary and spirited, civil debate as opposed to generating hundreds of thousands of often trivial and meaningless posts that reduce the forums to lowest common denominator chit-chat. To all of you intelligent, thoughtful, spirited and civil debaters who share the blame for making Scuba Forum Google's top-rated scuba board, put your hands together!

        Resubmitting and revising posts...

Sometimes posts are inadvertently lost in the digital cracks due to overzealous delete button jockies & jockettes.  If your post is not displayed at Scuba Forum within 24 hours, try resubmitting it. If it still does not get published, there is probably a compliance issue.  Less than 0.1% of posts fail to make the cut but if your comment is one of them, please review Scuba Forum Rules and then rewrite and resubmit it. Again, be sure to resubmit your post a second time as written before revising your comment.
